Moving and completing STS and RTG container cranes at Phuoc An port
PLC has safely completed the relocation of STS and RTG container cranes at Phuoc An port, Dong Nai.
Completion, connection and load testing were also carried out immediately afterward to ensure the crane was delivered to the customer on schedule.
Some information about the project is as follows:
- Crane manufacturer: Mitsui E&S (MES E&S)
- Agent in Vietnam: Huynh Thy Group
- Customer using crane: Phuoc An International Container Port
- Number of cranes: 4 STS cranes and 9 RTG cranes
Crane type:
- STS (Ship-To-Shore) used at container wharves
- RTG (Rubber-Tyer-Grantry) used at container loading yards
Work category:
- Remove the lashing system and reinforcement of the ship’s crane;
- Move 6 STS cranes and 18 RTG cranes from ship to shore;
- Connecting, completing and commissioning 6 STS cranes and 18 RTG cranes;
- Load test and hand over the crane to the investor.
