Wind tower sections are generally divided into two main types: one for onshore (plain or mountainous) installations and one for offshore installations. These two types have different sizes depending on the manufacturer and the height of each wind tower section. Onshore wind towers typically consist of five sections named S1, S2, S3, S4, and S5, with lengths ranging from 20m to 22m and weights from 29 tons to 55 tons.

After completing the transport of the tower sections, the next step is to transport the nacelle. The nacelle is one of the most critical parts of the wind tower. Weighing approximately 85 tons and nearly 20m in length, it is transported using flatbed trailers with specialized chassis for oversized loads. When transporting up steep mountainous slopes, two to four prime movers are used to ensure safety and the ability to pull the load. When descending, additional prime movers are attached at the rear to control the descent smoothly and safely.

Transporting wind blades is the most challenging part of wind power transportation due to their length of over 70m and weight exceeding 20 tons, varying by type. The root of the blade is assembled onto a Blade Adapter, which holds the blade and can rotate and adjust the height of one end when navigating turns or obstacles. The crucial point in transporting wind blades is ensuring overhead clearance at intersections, as the Blade Adapter raises the blade to avoid obstacles.

With additional pulling vehicles in front (2-3 trucks) to ensure stability and increased pulling power on slopes, drivers and assistants communicate via radio systems. Each transport team has a registered radio channel to avoid cross-communication with other teams.

Oversized cargo parts extending beyond the vehicle during transport are marked with flags and warning lights during both day and night, accompanied by an oversized load indicator.
